Porvair Filtration Group has been supplying high quality filtration solutions to the nuclear industries within Europe, the USA and the UK since the 1980s. With a proven track record of presenting unique, novel and innovative engineered solutions to a wide array of applications, we have become a world leader in the design and supply of highly engineered filters, systems and porous media used in the processing of radioactive materials at all stages of the nuclear fuel cycle.
This week our US team is exhibiting at WM2019, the 45th annual Waste Management Symposia. This is an international conference for the management of radioactive waste and related topics. The event gives Porvair a great opportunity to meet and interact with Engineering, Procurement and Construction firms (EPCs), US DOE Representatives and process engineers to discuss the filtration requirements needed within the nuclear industry.
We will be proudly promoting our products at the exhibition, including filtration systems that employ exotic alloys such as Inconel® and Monel®, as well as 300 series stainless steel, which can be integrated into pulse jet self-cleaning systems and high-efficiency (HEPA) dust control for hot gas environments.
Interestingly, by using these features our customers can safeguard both the safety of nuclear industry workers and the environment by consolidating and concentrating high volumes of radioactive liquid waste and airborne dust into compact and more easily disposable or manageable formats for storage.
Trevor Waghorn, Sales & Marketing Manager, comments:
“We look forward to welcoming anyone who is attending the Waste Management Symposia to our stand (527) to discuss, in more depth, the features and benefits of Porvair filters and how we can work together to solve your filtration needs. Our Nuclear Program Manager, Eric Duvekot, will be there all week to discuss any requirements you may have.”
