Air and Acoustics

Specialist filter media is required within aircraft systems for air and acoustics, to control flow and therefore enable sound absorption. The complex path of the porous media within the system muffles the sound wave amplitude to allow for optimum conditions within the aircraft. 

Porvair Filtration Group manufacture a range of acoustic liners and baffles for aircraft. These can be manufactured from a range of filter media to suit the specific properties of the application, such as sintered metal fibre and mesh. The properties of such media allow for optimum performance for the specification, high temperature resistance and long service life.
