Ashland based Porvair Filtration Group Inc. has moved its US HQ, as it looks to secure further sustainable growth.
The business is now sited at the newly named Business Lane after relocating a short distance from its previous address.
The new facility doubles the size of its manufacturing floor. It also provides larger office and meeting space for growth in R&D, Engineering, Sales and Marketing, and Finance.
The expansion will aid Porvair in developing its innovative product line for world class solutions, and comes nearly three years after it acquired the business of Chand Eisenmann Metallurgical (CEM), the Caribou Division, and only months after the acquisition of TEM Filter Company (TEM), now Porvair's Boise Division.
Both have now been merged with Porvair's Ashland operations, and are integrated with the group's strategy to grow its US division into a major filtration organization.
From its local base, Porvair manufactures sintered filter elements and mesh materials including precision Sinterflo® MC filter plates, as well as superior fluidizing media. It also now manufactures Last Chance Filters, providing final system protection to the aerospace and defence industry.
Porvair, honoured in the UK last year with the Queen's Award for Enterprise in International Trade, specializes in a wide range of porous sintered metal products which utilize advanced technology in powder metallurgy, providing optimum solutions for a wide variety of applications.
President of Porvair Inc., Kevin Nelson, said that successful delivery of the relocation and expansion reaffirmed the company's commitment to investing in its operations.
He said: “We are certain that this key investment in our Ashland HQ will ensure that Porvair remains at the forefront of industry demand, while forging new avenues of growth.
“It will further demonstrate to customers our commitment to driving innovation in capabilities that offer highly efficient and cost-effective solutions.
“It is hugely important to Porvair that we remain dedicated to investment in ground-breaking technology and exemplary customer service. There is no doubt that 301 Business Lane will be a facility that Porvair employees in the US and UK will be very proud of.”
