We’re looking for a talented ERP Manufacturing Engineer to join our Production team at our Segensworth site. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the role is responsible for the creation, maintenance, validation and continuous improvement of manufacturing master data within the ERP system. The role ensures that bills of materials, routings, work centres, production standards and associated manufacturing data are accurate, controlled and released in line with business, engineering, quality and operational requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing
Safety and Environmental Compliance
- Proactively support a safety first, positive and collaborative team culture
- Provide technical guidance for risk assessments as necessary
- Support HSE investigations to ensure safe working environment
- Ensure production release aligns with known safe practices
System Ownership
- Highly efficient creation, maintenance and validation of ERP Master data including BOM and routings
- Ensure Engineering Change Control correctly applied to all releases
- Own system updates for both new and existing products
- Develop rework routings as required to enable product repair
- Provide validated routings and BOM for NPI and redesigned products
Continuous Improvement
- Champion improvements in routings to improve production delivery
- Measure and provide updates to reduce material variances
- Support continuous improvement events to ensure ERP readiness
- Lead VSM events to support data accuracy and drive improvements
Other Duties
- Support and drive company initiatives to reinforce our Company Values
- Perform other tasks as required
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering
- ERP experience
- Experience in understanding mechanical drawings
- Relevant experience in engineering roles in manufacturing environments
- Experience of metal fabrication and surface treatment processes
- Excellent communication Technical and training skills
- Strong data analysis skills
- Capable with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Experience working in a AS9100 environment
Desirable
- CAD experience
- Knowledge of Lean and 6Sigma techniques
- Experience working in CNC environments
