Main function of job:  Responsible for providing high levels of customer service and support to the company’s Aerospace customer base.

Duties/Responsibilities:  

  • To be responsible for the day to day management of allocated customer accounts through liaison with internal departments, escalating any appropriate issues to the Customer Services Manager
  • To provide timely, accurate and reliable information to customers at each stage of the process – enquiries, orders, deliveries, appointments and complaints.
  • To build strong working relationships with external and internal customers based on mutual respect and trust. Lead customer meetings on and off site to review Account status and support new business development.
  • To Champion the customers interests by solving problems, resolving uncertainty and liaising with internal teams and the customer to ensure the availability of accurate and reliable information on order status.
  • To deliver accurate and timely input and maintenance of customer orders and schedules onto  ERP system.
  • To perform Sales Order Review on all sales orders processed to ensure obligations undertaken by the company are in line with offers made and commercial objectives.
  • Assist in the export control process and product classification in accordance with company procedures and government guidelines. .
  • To monitor and report on delivery performance and liaise with production and supply chain to ensure objectives are met.
  • To produce and assist in the production of business analysis data to highlight trends and identify improvement opportunities

Qualifications/Training Required:

  • Experience of working in a Manufacturing environment and understanding of corresponding business processes
  • Good IT skills, data reporting, email.
  • Customer/ Client relationship Training/ Experience
  • Product knowledge
  • Understanding and commitment to lean principles and tools
  • Understanding of export compliance
