About the Role

We are looking for a skilled CNC Miller to join our growing production team. You will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machines (3, 4, or 5-axis depending on experience)
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Edit and prove out CNC programs (Fanuc / Heidenhain)
• Carry out first-off inspections and ensure components meet quality standards
• Use a range of measuring equipment, manual, CMM and OMM
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller / CNC Machinist
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
• Experience with CNC controls (e.g. Fanuc, Heidenhain)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and quality standards
• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications (preferred)

Desirable Skills

• Programming experience (offline or on-machine)
• Experience with CAD/CAM software Fusion 360
