Inprinta® is pleased to announce the launch of the second generation Microprint™ II filter, at this years’ InPrint exhibition in Milan.
The capsule filter, which will be available from both Inprinta® and its parent company, Porvair Filtration Group, has been specifically designed to offer maximum protection to printheads on digital printers.
The filter, a self-contained unit designed from a robust fully welded polypropylene construction, will be on display at the InPrint exhibition in Milan from 20th to 22nd November.
The new Microprint™ II capsule filters are made from materials free from binding agents, to give low extractables and protection from fibre release downstream, thus ensuring a clean fluid system.
Based on the success of the Microprint™ concept, the Microprint™ II has been engineered to minimise downstream release of fibres and meet industry expectations, ensuring total printhead protection. The Microprint™ II is a product solution to adapt future design requirements for next generation printer system architectures and OEMs.
Inprinta®, the Inkjet sales division of Porvair Filtration Group, has been manufacturing filters at their ISO accredited site in the UK since 1989. The extensive range of printing specialty filters offers solutions to inkjet requirements through capsule, in-line, last chance and bulk ink filtration.
Nish Thakrar, Divisional Sales Manager at Inprinta®, comments:
“We are proud to announce the launch of the new Microprint™ II inkjet capsule. Porvair has a pedigree in delivery of filtration solutions for the digital inkjet market; the new Microprint™ II allows us to expand into all drop-on-demand deposition systems where fluid cleanliness and low hold up volumes are critical to systems performance and reliability.
“Those who want a first look at the new improved filter, visit us at Inprint Milan on stand 924 from 20th to 22nd November 2018.”
