On 4th December 2015, Porvair Filtration Group acquired North American company TEM Filters Inc., based in Idaho.
TEM Filters, which will be referred to as ‘Porvair Filtration Group, Boise Division', design and manufacture a range of filters for the microelectronics industry and are used by many semiconductor companies and OEM suppliers to this sector.
The acquisition of TEM filters brings a new product range that complements the flow restrictors and sintered metal powder filters developed in the Caribou Division. Together, Porvair's business can now offer an increased range of high purity filtration products to better meet customer needs and improve their position in this market.
Porvair Filtration Group's Managing Director, Tom Liddell commented “Microelectronics is a new and exciting market for us, which is a key target for growth in the years to come. The acquisition will add an important range of new products for this market and bring new sales channels for our existing products. We welcome the team in Boise and look forward to working together to grow the business. ”
TEM's General Manager Dieter Ewald says “We are delighted to have joined Porvair Filtration Group, who I believe will develop our business as a quality supplier of filters to the Semiconductor Industry.”
