Paint

PolyfilTM filters have precise cut-off removal ratings allowing metallic and pearlite particles to pass through whilst removing unwanted agglomerates. KlearfilTM will remove gels from E-coats and primers.
Parts Washing
Rinsing machined components extends the life of critical machinery. Filtration of rinsing fluids such as paraffin is an essential process in parts washing.
Powder Handling and Transmission
Fluidising powder for transportation using fluidising plates and sparging can be accomplished using Porvair sintered stainless steel powder or Vyon®, a sintered polypropylene media.
Cosmetics and Toiletries
Removal of unwanted contaminants from creams, lotions, emulsions can be achieved using the Porvair range of particulate filters. Bacterial stability of final product and process water and gases can be achieved using Porvair membrane filters.
Porvair is quality assessed to ISO9001 covering all aspects of design, manufacture and quality control. All filter cartridges are manufactured under clean room conditions using Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved materials carrying the CFR 21 number for biological safety. Materials of construction also meet USP Class VI-121oC plastics and are non-pyrogenic.
